Hi, I’m Ashlynn Godefroid, owner of Little Tiny Tots Learning Center. I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences—whether that’s exploring the outdoors, caring for animals, or taking on real-life responsibilities that help them grow into confident, capable individuals. My own background has shaped that belief. I grew up deeply involved in 4-H and FFA, spending a decade in the show ring from the age of 8 to 18. I graduated high school a year early with plans to become a veterinarian, but along the way I discovered my true calling—supporting and guiding children. That led me to work in foster care, where I saw firsthand the difference a safe, nurturing environment can make. Now, I’ve brought that passion to early childhood education, creating a place where children can learn, explore, and feel supported every step of the way. Outside of my center, you’ll usually find me outdoors—whether it’s building projects with my family, working on my tube chassis, or hitting the trails in search of the next rock climb. I believe in showing children that learning happens everywhere, not just inside four walls, and I’m honored to be part of helping them discover their own strengths and passions.

Growing up, I spent many of my days in a home full of children while my parents worked. My sister and I were cared for by a family with six kids of their own, plus one more they watched—and together, we all grew up side by side in Luebbering, Missouri. We weren’t just “watched.” We were loved. We became family. Even today, we still consider one another just that. That experience shaped who I am. It taught me what it feels like to be safe in someone else’s care. It showed me how powerful it is when a child feels like they belong. I have only worked in childcare for several years, but I have loved children my entire life. Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a teacher and even took several child-related classes in college because I knew, deep down, that this is where my heart belonged. At Little Tiny Tots, your child is never “just another kid.” They are known. They are protected. They are cherished. I believe childhood should be gentle, joyful, and full of wonder. My goal is to create the same kind of environment I was blessed with—one that feels like a second home, where children grow up surrounded by care, consistency, and love. When you leave your child with us, I want you to feel what my parents felt all those years ago: Peace. Trust. And the certainty that your child is in loving hands.
